Stargate SG-1, is my favorite TV show. I do my best to never miss an episode, and when I do I watch it the next say on Showtime Beyond. Actually I only subcribed to Showtime to watch Stargate. Now that it is leaving I'll probally cancle my subscription, unless they pick up the spin off series that MGM is producing. I was a little worried when I heard that SG-1 was going to the Sci-Fi Channel, I still remember what they did to Sliders and The Outer Limits, two of my other favorite shows. But the producers at MGM said they will still have the same budget, and promise the same quality show, we'll have to see. Stargate SG-1, and Farscape back to back all summer long, how much ass does that kick? But what I really wanted to say, after I pulled myself together, and stopped crying about the loss of Danile Jackson, my favorite character, I was able to watch the first post-Daniel show. I have to say, I can't wait to see what the next season holds. The Go'uld seem to have new technology and Osirus seems to be inhabiting a non-human body, no doubt he conquered and stole their technology, but it will still be interesting to watch it unfold. Oh, and Dr. Jackson will be making guest apperences, like in episode 6 of the next season on Sci-Fi. I guess I should have put a spoiler warning back there somewhere. I'll close with saying with their new team member, they Can't Loose

I got a bike, not just any bike, a Giant Iguana, I've been riding it to work (and back) most days. Boy, was I out of shape. But my body is responding quickly. Within a week I was able to pedal all the way home up the continually increasing grade. I don't think I was ever able to do that as a kid, but the most I had was a 5-speed with it's lowest gear being higher than 1:1, I'm going to have to count teeth on this new mountain bike to compute the ratios. I really do want to (scientificly) know how to shift when changing front sprockets.

I also got my tickets. I'll be going to Florida for Memorial Day weekend to see my friend before she goes back to Japan, a shout to you Tiggar, if you are reading this. It should be fun, she works at a hotel, so will be working during some of the days I'll be there, but she said she has passes to an arcade. I hope they have every Yu Suzuki game, so I can play them in order. I was impressed to find that one guy was responsible for some of my favorite games through out time.

Dare I risk one last note? I guess I do. I listened to Moby's 18 again while I was writing this up (no I don't type that slow, just think that slow). It is better the second time through, but I don't think I'll ever like it as much as Play, ever. Same goes for Björk's Vespertine (which I just put in), it is no Homogenic, but I only have that on an analog medium, and nothing to play it with.
