Wow, where have I been? I'm getting as bad as my friend, Tiggar. Actually I think I'm worse now, over 20 days without an update.

Mostly I haven't had anything to say. Just more of the same. Only average movies, okay Adult Swims, good episodes of Stargate SG-1, and no new CDs. Most of that has changed in the last week. I saw Amelie and Mulholland Drive. Adult Swim has just been okay. One episode of Baby Blues, hit home with my questioning the of the whole guy/girl thing. Why do girls always end up with the "bad" guys that hurt them, and then come crying to their "good" friends (who actually have feelings for them) after it happens? All episodes of Stargate are good, so I only feel the need to mention the exceptions. I just got 4 new CDs too.

Amelie, what can I say? Watch it, love it, buy the DVD to treasure forever. Just an amazing film. I can't put into words. I thought City of Lost Children was great. It is pale to Amelie. Did I mention, it is a good film? Mulholland Drive, I love all the work of David Lynch. I may not understand everything, but it is just a joy to feel my mind twist into knots as I try to follow and logicly analyze the plot. I'll never speak what I think things mean in a Lynch film, I don't think it is right to try to find symbolism that may or may not be. Only David really knows what he ment. I'm just here to enjoy.

The Stargate episode with the return of Danile Jackson, was, well, underwhelming. I know I was probally just expecting too much. But the episode really felt forced. Like they were just trying to find a reason for him to be there. I hope he makes more appearences, but in the future, try to write a plot where he is a key part. I guess I'm asking too much, they couldn't do that during the later seasons where he actually was a supposed to be a key part.

CDs yay! Daft Punk: Discovery, kicks so much ass, need to make more vidoes, and then release the whole story on DVD. Eiffel 65 (yes the Da Ba Dee people): Europop, I don't know how I missed this one. I loved Blue when it was popular, but am just now getting the CD. This one kicks my ass, every song is perfect. DirtyVegas, you know the Mitsubishi (or is that Mitsubachi?) commercial with the flat cap wearing, body popping, chick in the passenger seat? A good CD. No songs equal the power of Days Go By (except maybe the hidden track, which happens to be Days Go By, but accustic), but don't get me wrong, still very listenable. Last, Aphex Twin: Richard D. James Album. What rubbish. Don't get me wrong, I love IDM, but the early works of Aphex Twin, just don't live up to my standards after hearing the more recent stuff. I'll keep it, but that is because I keep all my CDs (the only ones I've parted with, were stolen, or sold by my brother).
